2017 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2017 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the second conference of the Premier Volleyball League and the 2017 season.. The conference started on July 1, 2017 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, San Juan. The tournament will have four new teams; two in the women's division (Adamson Lady Falcons and UP Fighting Lady Maroons) and two in the men's division (Megabuilders and Gamboa Coffee). Premier Volleyball League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Prior to becoming a full-fledged professional league in 2021, the PVL was open to participation of corporate owned semi-professional clubs and non-collegiate teams backed by local governments. The PVL previously operated men's and collegiate divisions before they were spun-off into Spikers' Turf and the V-League (Philippines), V-League, respectively, both are also operated by Sports Vision. Creamline Cool Smashers
The Creamline Cool Smashers are a Filipino professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by food company Rebisco and named after its Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand. They are the most successful team in the PVL, having won ten championships. In the 2024 Premier Volleyball League season, 2024 season, they became the first PVL team to achieve a "grand slam" (winning all three conferences in a season). Tots Carlos
Diana Mae "Tots" Carlos (born July 7, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was playing with UP Lady Fighting Maroons of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and a member of both the indoor and beach volleyball collegiate varsity teams of the university. She bagged the back-to-back Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference and 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference. She is also part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competed in the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup. Personal life Carlos originates from Lubao, Pampanga. Jovie Prado
Jovielyn Grace Prado (born July 30, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing as an Outside Hitter for the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Prado played for the Arellano Chiefs as an Outside Hitter in the NCAA. In 2017, she played for the United Volleyball Club in Philippine Superliga. She also played for the Power Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League where she became the captain of the team. Sue Roces
Suzanne "Sue" Roces (born January 17, 1985), is a Filipino former volleyball player. Career College Sue Roces attended the University of the East for her collegiate studies and played the UE Lady Warriors women's volleyball team in the UAAP. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2002 in Season 65. She also competed in beach volleyball, helping UE clinch a silver medal in UAAP Season 69 for the 2006–07 academic year. Beach Volleyball Republic
Beach Volleyball Republic, Inc. (BVR) is an organization aimed at the development of beach volleyball in the Philippines. It was formed in June 2015. History Co-founded by former volleybelle, Ateneo Lady Eagles, and current professional players Charo Soriano, Gretchen Ho, Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, Dzi Gervacio and Bea Tan.
