2017 Pahang FA Season
The 2017 season was Pahang's 14th season in the Liga Super Malaysia since its inception in 2004. Pahang also participated in the Piala FA and Piala Malaysia. The season covers the period from 21 January 2017 to 28 October 2017. Pahang lost the Piala FA Final to Kedah after a 2–3 loss on 20 May. Pahang FA
Sri Pahang Football Club () is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kuantan, Pahang. Founded in 1959 and has traditionally worn a yellow home kit since. At the beginning, club's home matches were held around the city public fields and outside Kuantan, predominantly around districts of Pahang. The lowest point of the club was in 2012, when KBS Sri Pahang were relegated to the Malaysia Premier League. The club came back from the abyss to the Malaysia Super League in 2013 after winning the play-off match against Kedah Darul Aman. Helmi Eliza Elias
Mohamad Helmi Eliza bin Elias (born 20 January 1983) is a Malaysian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Malaysia Super League club Sri Pahang. Club career He was a product of Kedah's youth system and started in the junior, Kedah FA President Cup squad during the 2001 season, but it wasn't until 2006–07 that he debuted on the senior side, replacing Megat Amir Faisal Al Khalidi Ibrahim left for a new challenges with Selangor FA, and the disappointing performance of Jamsari Sabian also made Helmi became the first choice goalie in Kedah's starting line-up beginning from 20 December 2006 in Super League match against Negeri Sembilan FA up until now. Dinesh a/l Rajasingam (born 13 February 1998) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Malaysia Super League club Sabah. Mohd Saifulnizam bin Miswan (born 3 March 1981) is a Malaysian football player who plays as a defender for Kuala Lumpur. Matthew Davies (footballer)
Matthew Thomas Davies (born 7 February 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim and the Malaysia national team. He started his professional career with Perth Glory at 18 years old. After playing for two seasons at Perth Glory Davies went on to Sri Pahang in 2015 in the Malaysia Super League, after his first season Davies was given captaincy for Sri Pahang at age 21 years old, making him the youngest captain ever for Sri Pahang and the first half Malaysian to become captain in the Malaysia Super League.
