2017 Milton SC Season ...
The 2017 Milton SC season was the fourth season in the club's participation in the Canadian Soccer League. They began the season on May 27, 2017 in an away match against FC Vorkuta. The season concluded with Milton securing a postseason berth by finishing sixth in the standings. In the preliminary rounds of the playoffs they were defeated by the York Region Shooters. Milton SC is a Canadian soccer club formed in 2014. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Academy of Soccer League. Their home venue is located at Milton Community Sports Park in the town of Milton, Ontario. History In 2014, professional soccer returned to the town of Milton under a joint effort by Jasmin Halkic and his son Jasmin Halkic Jr. Milton entered the Second Division of the Canadian Soccer League. Their original home venue was located at Bishop Reding SS and the team acquired the services of Stefan Ristic, Slavko Nenadov, Bajro Junuzovic, and Agata Jefferson. In their debut season the club finished sixth in the standings, and reached the semifinals, where they faced SC Waterloo, but were defeated by a score of 4–2. Scarborough SC is a Canadian soccer team founded in 2014. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Soccer League, a league that is not sanctioned by a FIFA recognized body. Centennial Park Stadium
Centennial Park Stadium is a 2,200 seat capacity stadium in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is primarily used for soccer, track and field, football and occasionally for kabaddi. The park is also used for the ROPSSAA football finals and the PSAA (Private Schools Athletic Association) on the first Monday of May for an annual Track and Field Meet. The stadium is named for the city park it is located in, which opened during Canada's centennial year of 1967; the stadium was opened in 1975, eight years after the centennial. Ivan Stanković ( Serbian Cyrillic: Иван Станковић; born 1 March 1983) is a Serbian footballer. Branislav Vukomanović (; born December 29, 1981) is a Serbian footballer and coach. Club career Early career Vukomanović began his career in 2000 in the First League of FR Yugoslavia with Radnički Kragujevac. In 2001, he played with Šumadija 1903. SC Waterloo Region
SC Waterloo Region is a professional Canadian soccer team that plays in the Canadian Soccer League, a non- FIFA-sanctioned league. The club was formed in 2011 under the name KW United FC and competed in the Second Division of the CSL. The following year the organization's name was changed to SC Waterloo Region and was promoted to the First Division. Within a short time Waterloo enjoyed a string of success within the league. Milton (2016 census population 110,128) is a town in Southern Ontario, Canada, and part of the Halton Region in the Greater Toronto Area.
