The MNL-2 2017 is the MNL-2's fifth full regular season. Name Change Horizon FC name changed to City Yangon. Personnel and sponsoring Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality. Foreign players The number of foreign players is restricted to four per MNL-2 club. MNL-2
The MNL-2 is the second-tier football league of Myanmar. The official name is MNL-2 League. The inaugural season began in 2013. History The MNL-2 was founded in 2013 as part of MFF's effort to extend competitiveness into the nation's football system. The league is played in a league cup format. After two rounds of competition, the top two teams compete each other for the final. The two finalists are promoted to the MNL. The top four finishers from the league also qualify for the MFF Cup. However, this rule does not apply to the two guest teams which are taking part on experimental purposes. For the inaugural season in 2013, nine teams participated. Among them, Best United and Horizon FC were transformed from former Futsal clubs. Mawyawadi FC and Chin United were relegated from the MNL at the end of the 2012 season while Myawady FC were promoted from the Amateur League. Pong Gan FC is a new club, founded in 2014. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. The group was independently founded in April 1968 in a meeting involving Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In 1986 ALFC merged with AFC. Win Naing Tun
Win Naing Tun ( my, ဝင်းနိုင်ထွန်း; born 3 May 2000) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Indonesian club Borneo Samarinda. He is considered the most promising striker in Burmese football. He won a bronze medal at the 2019 SEA Games. Early life Win Naing Tun was born on 3 May 2000 in Saipyingyi Village, Depayin in Sagaing Region. He went to the Myanmar Football Academy. Career In 2017, Yadanarbon signed Win Naing Tun from the Myanmar Football Academy. He scored his first time ever goal for Yadanarbon against Shan United. In December 2018, he received the best player award at the Thanh Niên Newspaper International U-21 Football Tournament held in Vietnam.
