2017 Las Vegas 350
The 2017 Las Vegas 350 was the 18th stock car race of the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the second race of the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs, the second race of the Round of 8, and the 21st iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in North Las Vegas, Nevada at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a permanent D-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 146 laps to complete. At race's end, Ben Rhodes, driving for ThorSport Racing, held off a charging Christopher Bell for his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win. He would also earn a spot in the next round of the playoffs. To fill out the podium, Chase Briscoe of Brad Keselowski Racing would finish third, respectively. Bucked Up 200
The Bucked Up 200 was a 134-lap, 200-mile long NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. History The race was first held on November 3, 1996 as the Carquest 420K. The race continued annually until 2000, when the race was removed from the schedule. However, the race returned as the Orleans 350 in 2001. In 2011, the race was moved to October as part of the IndyCar weekend and became an afternoon race. In 2012, the race was originally set for October 13 at 12 noon PDT as part of the IndyCar weekend, but Indy Racing League LLC faced issues from the 2011 IZOD IndyCar World Championship, with Truck race being that race's Saturday event, but the IndyCar race was removed as a result of legal issues following the death of Dan Wheldon on Lap 11 of the IndyCar race. Brad Keselowski Racing was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Started in 2007, it was owned and operated by NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series champion Brad Keselowski. TJL Motorsports was a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team. They fielded the No. 1 Chevrolet Silverado for various drivers in the Camping World Truck Series. Jordan L. Anderson (born April 15, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet Silverado for his team Jordan Anderson Racing. Racing career Anderson began racing in karts as an eight-year-old. He raced in Legends and Late model cars as his career developed.
