2017 Eliteserien
The 2017 Eliteserien was the 73rd completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The season began on 1 April 2017 and ended on 26 November 2017, not including play-off matches. This was first season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen. Rosenborg were the defending champions, while Kristiansund and Sandefjord entered as the promoted teams from the 2016 1. divisjon. The 2017 season saw the name of the league change from Tippeligaen (named after sponsor Norsk Tipping) to Eliteserien, a non-sponsor affiliated name controlled by the Football Association of Norway. Rosenborg won their third consecutive title and 25th top-flight title overall, with two games to spare. Rosenborg conceded only 20 goals during the season, a league record. Raufoss Fotball
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937 and 1948, between 1957 and 1960, in 1964 and between 1973 and 1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. Raufoss were demoted to the 2. divisjon and their place given to Sparta Sarpsborg, who finished in thirteenth place. KFUM Oslo
KFUM-Kameratene Oslo is the sports branch of the local YMCA in Oslo, Norway. It has departments for association football, futsal, volleyball, and track and field. The football team currently plays in Eliteserien from 2024, the top tier of the Norwegian football league system after promotion from Norwegian First Division in 2023. The club was founded on 1 January 1939, the clubs traditional base are in downtown Oslo. Today the team plays its matches at KFUM Arena, located at Ekebergsletta. IL Hødd
Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081. The club's old home ground, Høddvoll Stadion, holds the record attendance of over 12,000 spectators at a match against Vålerenga in 1981. Florø Sportsklubb is a Norwegian sports club from the town of Florø in the municipality of Kinn, Vestland, Norway. It has sections for association football, team handball and swimming. The club was founded in 1912 as Florø FK. Florø FK was later incorporated into Florø-Varg, founded in 1929. Elverum Fotball is the association football section of the sports club Elverum IL from Elverum, Norway. They compete in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system. History It was founded on 30 June 1907 under the name ''Elverum Footballklub''. Elverum played in the 2. divisjon for many years. In 1995, it won its group and was promoted to the 1996 1. divisjon, but was relegated after one year. Tromsdalen UIL is a Norwegian sports club founded in 1938, from Tromsdalen in the municipality of Tromsø. It has sections for football, athletics, skiing and gymnastics. The men's football team plays in 2. divisjon, the third level in Norwegian football. Their home games are played at Tromsdalen Stadion, which seats 3,000 spectators. Their colors are red and blue. IK Start
Idrettsklubben Start (or simply IK Start) is a Norwegian Association football, football club from the city of Kristiansand that currently plays in the Norwegian First Division, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 19 September 1905. The club's current head coach is Azar Karadas.
