The 2017 FINA Diving World Series, also known as FINA/ NVC Diving World Series is the ninth edition of FINA Diving World Series. The 1st leg is Beijing, China and followed by, 2nd leg Guangzhou, China. The 3rd leg is in Kazan, Russia and the final leg in Windsor, Canada Canada is a country in North America. Ilya Leonidovich Zakharov (russian: Илья Леонидович Захаров; born 2 May 1991) is a Russian diver and politician. He is the 2012 Olympics gold medalist in 3 metre Springboard. Career Junior In 2007, Zakharov debuted in international tournament in diving at the Lambertz-Printenspringen in Germany where he won gold in 10m platform, a pair of silver medal with Evgeny Kuznetsov in 3m Springboard Synchro and a bronze in 3m springboard. Nadezhda Valeryevna Bazhina (russian: Надежда Валерьевна Бажина; born 29 December 1987) is a Russian diver. She won the 3 m springboard event at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships and at the 2014 European Aquatics Championship. Anabelle "Belle" Smith (born 3 February 1993) is an Australian diver. She is 2022 Commonwealth Games champion in the 3 metre synchronized springboard. She competed in the 3 m springboard synchronized event at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal in 2016, and was placed fifth in 2012. Diving Smith competes in the 3 m springboard and 10 m platform synchro events. She has a diving scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport and is a member of Gannets Diving Club.
