Audi R8
The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006. Production ended in the first quarter of 2024. The car is exclusively designed, developed, and manufactured by Audi AG's private subsidiary company manufacturing high performance automotive parts, Audi Sport GmbH (formerly quattro GmbH), and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo and presently the Huracán platform. The fundamental construction of the R8 is based on the ''Audi Space Frame'', and uses an aluminium monocoque which is built using space frame principles. The car is built by Audi Sport GmbH in a newly renovated factory at Audi's 'aluminium site' at Neckarsulm in Germany. Nigel Moore (racing Driver)
Nigel Moore (born 4 January 1992 in Tockwith, England) is a British racing driver. Career Moore began his racing career in karting, in which he competed until 2007, when he began racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship, which he won with eight victories. He graduated to the Ginetta G50 Cup for 2008, which he also won. He also took two GT4 class wins in the British GT Championship racing a Ginetta G50. He raced in the series full-time in 2009. His co-driver Jody Firth won the title, due to Moore missing the Knockhill round as he was racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ginetta. At 17, he became the youngest Briton to race at the legendary race. He also raced in four races of the GT4 European Cup, winning once. Philip Beauchamp Hanson (born 5 July 1999) is a British racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship with AF Corse. Hanson has won multiple titles in sportscar racing, including the Dunlop Endurance Championship in 2016 (alongside an event win at the British LMP3 Cup), 2016–17 Asian Le Mans Series, 2016–17 and 2018–19 Asian Le Mans Series championships in the LMP3 and LMP2 classes respectively, and the 2020 European Le Mans Series.
