VfL Wolfsburg
Verein für Leibesübungen Wolfsburg e. V., commonly known as VfL Wolfsburg () or Wolfsburg, is a German professional sports club based in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony. The club grew out of a multi-sports club for Volkswagen workers in the city of Wolfsburg. It is best known for its football department, but other departments include badminton, handball and athletics. The men's professional football team play in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. Jeffrey Kevin van Homoet Bruma (born 13 November 1991), commonly known as Jeffrey Bruma (), is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa. Club career Chelsea Bruma joined Chelsea's youth setup from Feyenoord at the age of 15 for a fee of £100,000, and was making appearances for the reserve team by the age of 16. Jannes-Kilian Horn (born 6 February 1997) is a German professional footballer who plays as a defender for club VfL Bochum. Career Horn spent his youth career at VfL Wolfsburg, where he was promoted to the first team during the 2016–17 season. In June 2017, Horn joined 1. Maximilian "Max" Grün (born 5 April 1987) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Regionalliga Bayern club Viktoria Aschaffenburg. Club career Grün began his career with FV Karlstadt, before in summer 2002, he was scouted by Bayern Munich. After three years in Bayern's youth setup, he was promoted to the reserve team, where he served as the backup goalkeeper for four years, behind Michael Rensing and later Thomas Kraft. Victor James Osimhen (born 29 December 1998) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Napoli and the Nigeria national team. Born in Nigeria, Osimhen began his senior career in Germany at VfL Wolfsburg in 2017. Christian Träsch (born 1 September 1987) is a German former professional footballer who played as a right-back or defensive midfielder. Club career Träsch had his professional debut on 3 February 2008 against Schalke 04. He scored his first goal for VfB Stuttgart on 5 October 2008 against Werder Bremen from a 25-meter volley.
