2016–17 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2016–17 Danish 2nd Divisions was divided in three groups of eight teams in the autumn. In spring there was a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group were promoted to the 2017–18 Danish 1st Division. IK Skovbakken merged with Vejlby IK as of 1 July 2016 to form VSK Aarhus. 2014–15 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2014–15 Danish 2nd Divisions will be the divided in two groups of sixteen teams. The two group winners will be promoted to the 2015–16 Danish 1st Division. Following the season the league will be reduced from 32 to 24 participants. This means that 11 teams will be relegated. Because of an uneven distribution of West and East-teams (divided by the Great Belt), one East-team, Næstved BK, volunteered to join the West-division. Nordvest FC will from this season be competing under the club's original name Holbæk B&I. Vejgaard Boldspilklub, simply known as Vejgaard B, is an association football club based in Vejgaard, a suburb of Aalborg, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1925, it is more simply known as 'Vejgaard BK' or 'VB'. The team plays its home matches at Soffy Road. Kolding Idræts Forening is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of the Danish football league system, after getting promotion at the end of the 2022–23 season. Jammerbugt Fodbold Club was a Danish club based in Pandrup, Jammerbugt Municipality, that folded after the court in Hjørring issued a bankruptcy decree on 22 August 2022. History Jetsmark IF The club was founded on 27 August 1973 as a merger between the two neighbouring clubs Kaas IF and Pandrup Boldklub. As Kaas had been playing in green shirts and Pandrup in white, the new first team shirt of course had to be a mix of those two colours. As their first coach they hired Preben Larsen who, for a long time, had been an influential first team player in AaB. Holbæk Bold- & Idrætsforening is a Danish football club currently playing in Danish 3rd Division. They play at Holbæk Sportsby in Holbæk on Zealand. From 2008 to 2014 their first team played under the name Nordvest FC. History The club was founded in 1931 by the merging of Holbæk Idrætsforening and Holbæk Boldklub, after a period where Holbæk Idrætsforening had some success in regional championships. The quality of the team had declined, however, since the year 1924 where some members broke out to found Holbæk Boldklub. The reason among others for that move being that cricket was still a part of the club's activities. But on 4 August 1931 the two clubs in the rather small town decided to become one – leaving cricket on the side line.
