The 2016 Toronto FC II season was the second season in the club's history. In 2015 the team finished 11th in the Eastern Conference, therefore, missing the playoffs. Toronto FC II
Toronto FC II is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Toronto, Ontario, who play in MLS Next Pro, a third tier league of the United States soccer league system. It is the reserve team and minor league affiliate of Toronto FC as well as in partnership with Toronto FC Academy. History Pre-history Upon their entrance into Major League Soccer, Toronto FC fielded their reserves in the MLS Reserve League from 2007 to 2013. In 2014, Toronto FC entered into a one-year partnership with the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL to serve as their affiliate, with whom they would loan players to. 2016 MLS SuperDraft
The 2016 MLS SuperDraft was the seventeenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held each year in conjunction with the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention. The 2016 convention was held in Baltimore, Maryland. The first two rounds of the 2016 SuperDraft were held on January 14, 2016. Rounds three and four were held via conference call on January 19, 2016. Emeka Ononye is a Canadian soccer player who last played for Toronto FC II in the USL. Club career College and Amateur Ononye played at Wright State University for four years. He made 76 appearances, scoring 7 goals. Daniel Fabrizi
Daniel Fabrizi (born February 22, 1992) is a Canadian soccer player who played as a defender. Club career College soccer Fabrizi played for York University for four years. In his final year in 2014, York won both the OUA and CIS championships, with Fabrizi earning OUA West first-team all-star honours. CSL In 2009, he played in the Canadian Soccer League with TFC Academy. He would sign on for the 2010 season. Nathan Ingham (born 27 June 1993) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Atlético Ottawa.
