FC Istiklol
Football Club Istiklol ( tg, Клуби Футболи Истиқлол, Klubi futboli «Istiqlol»), ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال استقلال دوشنبه), is a Tajik professional football club based in Dushanbe. Founded in 2007, the club competes in the Ligai Olii Tojikiston, the top flight of Tajik football league system. It was founded to commemorate the Independence of Tajikistan; ''Istiklol'' in Tajik means 'independence'. History Early years (2007–2009) Istiklol Dushanbe was established in November 2007, under the Presidency of Shohruh Saidov. In 2008, Istiklol competed in the Dushanbe Group of the Second Division under the guidance of head coach Kanoat Latifov, winning all 30 league games with a +154 goal difference and winning promotion to the Tajik League. In 2009, in their debut in the Tajik League, led by new head coach Salohiddin Gafurov, the team finished fourth.

FC Khujand ( tg, Клуби футболи «Хуҷанд»), ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال خجند), is a Tajik professional football club based in Khujand, currently playing in the Ligai Olii Tojikiston, the top division in the country. History FС Khujand was established in 1976 from the remnants of the club Pomir which was previously known as Miner. The first head coach of the team was Vladimir Burin. FC Khujand competed in the Central Asian Championship B League for 15 years. Kamil Saidov (born 25 January 1989) is a Tajikistani footballer who plays for Barki Tajik. He is a member of the Tajikistan national football team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. Career In January 2014, Saidov joined FC Istiklol, going on to make 15 league appearances and scoring 7 goals, before leaving the club in December of the same year. Vahdat
Vahdat ( tg, Ваҳдат) is a city in western Tajikistan, on the bank of the Kofarnihon River, 21 km east of Dushanbe. It was previously called Yangi-Bozor (1927–1936), Orjonikidzeobod (1936–1993, after Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze) and Kofarnihon (1993–2006). Its population is estimated at 43,200 for the city proper and 342,700 for the city with the outlying communities (2020). Vahdat was the focus on international attention in 2019 when a riot occurred in the city's prison, believed to be instigated by members of Islamic State, which led to the deaths of three guards and 29 inmates.
