2016 Sarawak FA Season
The 2016 season was Sarawak's 4th season in Liga Super the top tier of Malaysian football since being promoted in 2014. Another gloomy season campaign for Bujang Senang after another trophy drought years. Sarawak FA
Sarawak FA State Football Team ( ms, Pasukan Bola Sepak Negeri Sarawak) was a defunct football team which represented the Malaysian region (formerly state) of Sarawak from 1974 to 2020 in the Malaysian football league. It was one of the 14 Malaysian state teams of the Malaysian football structure before the Malaysian football league demanded all teams competing in the country's top two leagues to be run as or changed to professional clubs by 2021. It is also important to note that Sarawak FA is a football team that is not run as a professional football club, but rather a team that was funded and run by a Malaysian state football association that relied mostly on state government grants. How the team was run was much like all the other Malaysian state football teams competing in the old Malaysian football system before the year 2021 too. Harimau Muda A
Harimau Muda A was the club name for the former Malaysia Under-22 National Football Team, representing Malaysia in international football competitions such as the AFC U-22 Asian Cup, Champions Youth Cup as well as other under-22 international football tournaments. It was managed by Football Association of Malaysia. The squad was the feeder team for Malaysia U-23 and senior national football team. In 2015, Harimau Muda once again became a single team composed of former Harimau Muda A & B players. On 25 November 2015, it was confirmed that the club was disbanded by FAM which meant that all the players were returned to their own state sides. Harimau Muda A last competed in Australia's National Premier Leagues Queensland, having lastly participated in a domestic league competition is the 2012 S. League. Kelantan Football Club ( ms, Kelab Bola Sepak Kelantan) is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The club plays in the Malaysia Super League, the top tier of Malaysian football since 2023. Mohd Hairol Mokhtar
Mohammad Hairol bin Mokhtar (born 24 October 1984 in Kuching), is a Malaysian former footballer who last plays as a centre-back for Kuching City. Career Sarawak Hairol started out playing for hometown club Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara (DBKU) in Kuching Premier League (Liga Perdana Kuching) since 2006. In 2008, he helped Samarahan district to win Sarawak Cup (Piala Sarawak). He signed his first professional contract with Sarawak in 2010 and managed to get into Sarawak's first team by 2011. Hairol replaced Zamri Morshidi as Sarawak captain for the 2012 season. In 2013, he won the Liga Premier with Sarawak getting them promoted. Mohammad Shahrol bin Saperi (born 12 October 1984), known as Shahrol Saperi is a former Malaysian footballer who is currently the fitness coach for Sarawak FA U-19. Shahrol played with Sarawak since 2001 when he joined their Malaysia President Cup in Sarawak President's Under-21 team and was promoted to the senior squad in 2004. Ashri bin Chuchu (born 27 February 1991 in Sarawak) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays for Malaysia Premier League side Sarawak United mainly as a winger but can also plays as an attacking midfielder.
