The 2016 Russian Circuit Racing Series was the third season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the second season with TCR class cars, competing alongside the Super 2000 TC2 and the Super Production cars. Teams and drivers All teams and drivers were Russian-registered. Dmitry Aleksandrovich Bragin (russian: Дми́трий Алекса́ндрович Бра́гин, born 19 May 1982) is a Russian racing driver currently racing in the Russian Circuit Racing Series. Ildar Ilhamovich Rakhmatullin (born 6 March 1986) is a Russian racing driver currently competing in the Russian Circuit Racing Series. He previously competed in the TCR International Series and FIA European Rallycross Championship. Racing career Rakhmatullin began his career in 1996 in karting. In 2007 he switched to the Russian Ice Racing Championship, and he won the championship that year.
