2016 UCI Europe Tour
The 2016 UCI Europe Tour was the twelfth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2016 season began on 28 January 2016 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Santanyí-Ses Salines-Campos and ended on 23 October 2016 with the Chrono des Nations. French rider Nacer Bouhanni (), who scored 721 points in the 2015 UCI Europe Tour, 2015 edition, was the defending champion of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points were awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. Mark Thomas McNally (born 20 July 1989) is a British former professional road and track racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2018 for four different professional teams. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team . Biography McNally was born in Fazakerley, Liverpool. He took up cycling after watching the 2000 Summer Olympics on television. Steele Von Hoff
Steele Von Hoff (born 31 December 1987) is an Australian road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for Australian amateur team InForm TMX MAKE. In 2018, Von Hoff won the gold medal in the road race at the Commonwealth Games. Career In 2011, Von Hoff and teammate Nathan Haas dominated Australia's domestic National Road Series. The two riders entered the 2011 Herald Sun Tour, a race featuring numerous UCI ProTeams. Von Hoff progressed from third on stage two to second on stage three; Haas won the general classification. Jarosław Marycz (born 17 April 1987) is a Polish road bicycle racer, who most recently rode for UCI Continental Team . Biography Born in Koszalin, Marycz turned professional with the UCI Professional Continental team in 2008. In 2009, Marycz was leading the European U-23 road racing championships in a breakaway near the end of the race, but was caught 20 meters from the finish line by Kris Boeckmans, finishing second.
