The Philadelphia Soul season was the eleventh season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The 2016 season was Clint Dolezel's fourth season with the franchise. The Soul played most of their home games at the Wells Fargo Center, but then moved their last regular season game and all playoff contests to the PPL Center in the Lehigh Valley city of Allentown. Brandon Thompkins (born October 9, 1987) is an arena football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. After playing college football at Arkansas State University, Thompkins was signed as an undrafted free agent by the CFL's BC Lions, but cut after training camp. From there, he joined Spokane Shock. After two seasons, he was assigned to the Utah Blaze, only to go back to the Shock and be traded to the Philadelphia Soul on May 29, 2014 for future considerations. Greg Carr (born October 8, 1985) is a professional arena football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. After playing college football at Florida State, Carr was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. LaMark Brown II (born July 5, 1989) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 2012. Larry Brackins (born November 5, 1982) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Pearl River Community College.
