Judo World Masters
The Judo World Masters is an annual invite-only judo competition. After being open for only the top 16 ranked judoka in each weight class for its first eight installments, the tournament was expended to host the top 36 of each weight class in 2019. The world masters is the only world tour event with no limitation on the number of judoka competing from any single national association. Lukáš Krpálek (; born 15 November 1990) is a Czech heavyweight judoka. He is a former world champion (2019) and European champion (2014), former and current Olympic Champion (2016, 2020). He is the most successful judoka in Czech and Czechoslovak history, and was named Czech Judoka of the Year eight times between 2008 and 2015. Mihael Žgank ( tr, Mikail Özerler; born 1 February 1994) is a Slovenian-born Turkish judoka. Career Žgank competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's 90 kg, where he lost to Aleksandar Kukolj of Serbia in the round of 32.
