2016 ITTF World Tour
The 2016 ITTF World Tour was the 21st season of the International Table Tennis Federation's professional table tennis world tour. 2016 also marked the tour's 20th anniversary. The events of the 2016 tour were split into three tiers: Super Series, Major Series and Challenge Series. The Super Series events offered the highest prize money and the most points towards the ITTF World Tour standings, which determined the qualifiers for the 2016 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in December. The Major Series was the middle tier, with the Challenge Series being the lowest tier. ITTF World Tour Grand Finals
The ITTF World Tour Grand Finals, formerly named ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals, is an annual table tennis tournament sanctioned by International Table Tennis Federation The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) is the governing body for all national table tennis associations. The role of the ITTF includes overseeing rules and regulations and seeking technological improvement for the sport of table tenni ... (ITTF) at the end of the year. The tournament includes seven events: men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, mixed doubles (new in 2018), U21 men's and women's singles. Max-Schmeling-Halle
Max-Schmeling-Halle is a multi-purpose arena, in Berlin, Germany, named after the famous German boxer Max Schmeling. Apart from Mercedes-Benz Arena and the Velodrom, it's one of Berlin's biggest indoor sports arenas and holds from 8,861 people, up to 12,000 people. The opening ceremony took place on 14 December 1996 in the presence of Max Schmeling. Otočec (, german: Sankt Peter) is a settlement on the left bank of the Krka (Slovenia), Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. Name The name of the settlement was changed from ''Šent Peter'' (literally, 'Saint Peter') to ''Otočec'' (literally, 'small island') in 1952. Dom sportova (), is a multi-purpose indoor sports arena located in Zagreb, Croatia. The venue was built in 1972 on Trešnjevka, in the western part of the city. It has 32,000 m2 of floorspace, and it features six halls. The seating capacity of the biggest two halls is 5,000 and 3,100. The Central Sports Centre Torwar (formerly known as Hala Torwar, commonly referred to as the Arena COS Torwar) is an indoor arena in Warsaw, Poland. It opened in 1953 and seats 4,824 people in the stands, with up to an additional 1,480 seats available to add on the floor.
