2016 IK Start Season
The 2016 season is Start's 4th season in the Tippeligaen since their promotion back to the league in 2012, and their first season with Steinar Pedersen as manager. Start will competed in the Tippeligaen and the Norwegian Cup. IK Start
Idrettsklubben Start (or simply IK Start, translates to The sports club Start ) is a Norwegian football club from the city of Kristiansand that currently plays in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 19 September 1905. The club's current head coach is Sindre Tjelmeland. The team plays in yellow jerseys, black shorts and socks at home, and black jerseys, yellow shorts and socks away. They play their home matches at Sør Arena, the club's own football stadium, opened in 2007. Before moving to Sør Arena, IK Start played their games at Kristiansand Stadion. The team's official supporter club was called "Tigerberget", until 2017, when the IK Start board decided to no longer have an official supporter club. Jesper Mathisen (born 17 March 1987) is a former Norwegian football player. Originally a striker, he converted to being a defender. He has been on the first team since 2004, but only in the 2008 season has he been getting significant playing time He did better for youth specific national teams, and in 2005 scored four goals against Malta on the U-18 team. John Olav Norheim (born 5 April 1995) is a Norwegian football defender who currently plays for Eliteserien side HamKam. Career He started his career in Fløy, and made his senior debut in 2012. Jibril Bojang (born 13 September 1994) is a football striker who currently plays for 2. divisjon side Bærum. Born in Norway, he represents the Gambia national team. Club career Bojang is of Gambian descent. He played youth football in Skeid, and made his first-team debut in the last match of the 2010 season. Andreas Hollingen (born 3 October 1994) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Hollingen made his first-team debut for Molde in October 2012 in the Europa League against Steaua București. He later made his Norwegian Premier League debut in July 2013 in a 3–2 win against Tromsø. On 10 August 2014, Hollingen joined HamKam on loan for the remainder of the season. On 26 March 2015, Hollingen joined IK Start on a season-long loan. The loan was made permanent from the 2016-season. He left the club at the end of the 2018 season. Hollingen fought with injuries in four years and never played professionally again since leaving IK Start at the age of 24 in December 2018.
