Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice Côte d'Azur (), commonly referred to as OGC Nice or simply Nice, is a French professional football club based in Nice. The club was founded in 1904 and currently plays in Ligue 1, the top tier of French football. Nice plays its home matches at the Allianz Riviera. Nice was founded under the name ''Gymnaste Club de Nice'' and is one of the founding members of the first division of French football. The club has won Ligue 1 four times, the Trophee des Champions one time and the Coupe de France three times. It achieved most of its honours in the 1950s with the club being managed by coaches such as Numa Andoire, Englishman William Berry, and Jean Luciano. Kévin Gomis
Kévin Mickael Junior Gomis (born 20 January 1989) is a French former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Football career Born in Paris, Gomis started his professional career with En Avant de Guingamp, but only played officially with the reserves. In summer 2009 he signed a two-year contract at Portuguese club Associação Naval 1º de Maio, being joined by countryman manager Victor Zvunka the following year. Gomis appeared in his first Primeira Liga match on 29 August 2009, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1–3 home loss against FC Porto. He finished his first season with 23 games (all starts), as the Figueira da Foz side ranked in a best-ever eighth position. Maxime Le Marchand (born 11 October 1989) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre back for club Strasbourg. Career Youth career Le Marchand was born in the port city of Saint-Malo in Brittany and began his youth football career with his hometown club, Saint-Malo. In 2000, he joined the prestigious youth academy of Rennes. Upon arriving at the club, Le Marchand initially joined as a left-sided midfielder, but eventually moved to the left-back role. Wallyson Teixeira Mallmann (born 16 February 1994) is a Brazilian midfielder. Club career Mallmann has played in the youth academies of FC Basel and Manchester City before joining Sporting B on loan.
