Legia Warszawa (), commonly referred to as Legia Warsaw or simply Legia, is a professional football club based in Warsaw, Poland. Legia is the most successful Polish football club in history, winning a record 15 champions titles, a record 21 Polish Cup and 5 Polish Super Cup trophies. Szymon Marciniak
Szymon Marciniak (Polish: ; born 7 January 1981) is a Polish football referee. He is considered one of the best rated international referees of his generation. He has refereed the 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France, the 2018 UEFA Super Cup between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, and the 2023 UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan. For 2022 and 2023, he was named "The World's Best Referee" by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS). Early career Marciniak was born in 1981 in Płock, Poland. Stalowa Wola () is the largest city and capital of Stalowa Wola County with a population of 58,545 inhabitants, as at 31 December 2021. Michał Żyro (Polish pronunciation: ; born 20 September 1992) is a Polish football pundit, co-commentator and former professional player who played as a forward. Following retirement, he joined Canal+'s Ekstraklasa coverage team. Żyro has played for Legia Warsaw, Korona Kielce, Pogoń Szczecin, Stal Mielec, Piast Gliwice, Jagiellonia Białystok and Wisła Kraków in Poland, as well as Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic in England. Jakub Rzeźniczak (born 26 October 1986) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for III liga club Stal Kraśnik. Besides Poland, he has played in Azerbaijan. Club career During his first couple of seasons at Legia Warsaw, Rzeźniczak struggled with consistency, and was eventually loaned out to Widzew Łódź, where he spent the 2006–07 season. Marcin Andrzej Robak (born 29 November 1982) is a Polish professional futsal player who plays for Ekstraklasa club FC Toruń. A former professional footballer who played as a forward, he made nine appearances and scored once for the Poland national team between 2010 and 2014.
