2015–16 FC Sheriff Tiraspol Season
The 2015–16 season is FC Sheriff Tiraspol's 19th season, and their 18th in the Divizia Naţională, the top-flight of Moldovan football. Sheriff Tiraspol are the current defending champions of the Moldovan Cup, and were knocked out of the Europa League by Norwegian side Odds BK, whilst defeating FC Milsami Orhei in the Moldovan Super Cup. Fotbal Club Sheriff (russian: ФК Шериф Тирасполь), commonly known as Sheriff Tiraspol or simply Sheriff, is a Moldovan professional association football, football club based in Tiraspol, a city located in the List of states with limited recognition, unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria. Lokomotiv 1929 ( bg, Локомотив 1929) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which currently plays in the First League, the top tier of Bulgarian football. FK Banat Zrenjanin () was a football club based in Zrenjanin, Vojvodina, Serbia. History The club was founded in June 2006 by the merger of Budućnost Banatski Dvor and Proleter Zrenjanin. They started competing in the Serbian SuperLiga in the competition's inaugural 2006–07 season, managing to avoid relegation. Moreover, the club's striker Srđan Baljak became the league's top scorer with 18 goals. They also reached the 2006–07 Serbian Cup semi-finals, being eliminated by Vojvodina. Marcel Kpamin Kouégbé Métoua (born 15 November 1988) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a defender. He has played for Ivorian side ASC Ouragahio, Serbian FK Banat Zrenjanin and last, and most extensively, played for FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the Moldovan National Division. Career Born in Attecoubé, he started his career in 2006, playing with the Ivorian club ASC Ouragahio. In January 2008, he moved to Serbia to play with a lower league club, FK Fruškogorac. After 6 months, he signed with Serbian SuperLiga club FK Banat Zrenjanin, where he played until the summer of 2011. He played in the 2009-10 and the 2010–11 season in the Serbian First League. FK Yenisey Krasnoyarsk (ФК Енисей Красноярск) is a Russian football club based in Krasnoyarsk. The club plays in the Russian First League. FC Tiraspol was a Moldovan football club based in Tiraspol, Moldova. They played in the Divizia Naţională, the top division in Moldovan football. Founded in 1992 as ''Constructorul Chișinău'', it entered the Moldovan National Division in the 1995–96 season, winning its only title in the 1996–97 and Moldovan Cups in 1996 and 2000.
