2015 UNOH 225
The 2015 UNOH 225 was the 10th stock car race of the 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and the 5th iteration of the event. The race was held on Thursday, July 9, 2015, in Sparta, Kentucky at Kentucky Speedway, a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) permanent tri-oval shaped racetrack. The race was decreased from 150 to 145 laps, due to the damage sustained from the catchfence after Ben Kennedy's terrifying crash. Matt Crafton, driving for ThorSport Racing, would take advantage of the lead on the eventual final restart, and won the race after leading when the red flag came out and ultimately ended the race. This was Crafton's ninth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his fourth of the season. Crafton and Erik Jones had dominated the majority of the race, leading 43 and 55 laps, respectively. ThorSport Racing is an American professional stock car racing team competing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Founded in 1996 as SealMaster Racing and based in Sandusky, Ohio, the team is owned by Duke Thorson and his wife, Rhonda. Brad Keselowski Racing was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Started in 2007, it was owned and operated by NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series champion Brad Keselowski. Tyler Randall Young (born July 15, 1990) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and team owner. Travis Wade Kvapil ( ; born March 1, 1976) is an American former professional stock car driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, driving the No. 1 Chevrolet Silverado for Beaver Motorsports. He was the 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion. Early career Kvapil grew up working on cars in his father's garage, and racing was a natural progression for the Wisconsin native.
