The 2015 Toray Pan Pacific Open was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 32nd edition of the Pan Pacific Open, and part of the Premier Series of the 2015 WTA Tour. WTA Premier Tournaments
WTA Premier tournaments was a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association, WTA Tour, implemented from the reorganization of the schedule in 2009 until 2020. In 2020, Premier events included: * Four "Premier Mandatory" events in Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, and Beijing with prize money of $4.5 million. * Five "Premier 5" events in Doha, Rome, Cincinnati, Toronto/Montreal, and Wuhan with prize money of $2 million. * Twelve "Premier" events with prize money of $600,000 to $1,000,000. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are: * "Premier Mandatory" 1000 * "Premier 5" 900 and * "Premier" 470. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam Tournament ("major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, and 280 for winning an WTA International tournaments, International tournament. Misaki Doi
is a Japanese former professional tennis player. Her highest WTA rankings are No. 30 in singles and No. 77 in doubles. Doi reached two junior Grand Slam doubles finals – at Wimbledon in 2007 with Kurumi Nara, and at the Australian Open in 2008, with Elena Bogdan (losing both). She enjoyed a meteoric rise on the WTA Tour in the late 1990s, during which she set various "youngest-ever" records. Madison Brengle
Madison Brengle (born April 3, 1990) is an inactive American tennis player. Her biggest success came in early 2015 when she reached her first WTA Tour final in January, followed by a fourth round major event appearance at the Australian Open. In May of that year, she reached her career-high singles ranking of No. 35. Brengle has won two singles titles and one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour, and 19 singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. In August 2007, she was ranked fourth in the world in juniors. Brengle then toiled for years in the ITF Circuit. Olga Mykolayivna Savchuk (; born 20 September 1987) is a retired tennis player from Ukraine. Savchuk grew up in the city of Makiyivka in Donetsk province. She resides in Nassau, Bahamas. Ana Konjuh (; born 27 December 1997) is a Croatian tennis player. A successful junior player, Konjuh won both the 2013 Australian Open – Girls' singles, singles and 2013 Australian Open – Girls' doubles, doubles junior events at the 2013 Australian Open, Australian Open in January 2013 and, as a result, moved up to No. 1 in the ITF Junior Circuit, ITF Junior world rankings.
