2015 Race Of Champions
The 2015 Race of Champions was a motorsports event that took place over 20–21 November 2015 at the Olympic Stadium in London. A previous six-time winner of the Nations' Cup, Sebastian Vettel became Champion of Champions for the first time, defeating Tom Kristensen, who made the final for the fourth time, 2–0. In the Nations' Cup itself, the England 1 team of Jason Plato and Andy Priaulx took the victory in a final race decider against Germany, who were represented by Vettel and fellow Formula One driver Nico Hülkenberg. Participants Cars Eight vehicles were used throughout the event. Returning from the 2014 Race of Champions were the Ariel Atom Cup, the KTM X-Bow, the ROC Car and the NASCAR Chevrolet SS Stock Car as used in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Race Of Champions
The Race of Champions (ROC) is an international motorsport event held at the start or end of each year, featuring some of the world's best racing and rally drivers from Formula One, World Rally Championship, IndyCar, NASCAR, sports car racing, touring car racing, and motorcycle racing, who compete against each other in identical cars. The race was first organised in 1988 by former rally driver Michèle Mouton and Fredrik Johnsson, IMP (International Media Productions) President. Originally the event was a competition between the world's best rally drivers, but has since expanded to include top competitors from most other motorsport disciplines. 2015 Indy Lights Season
The 2015 Indy Lights season was the 30th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 14th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. The 2015 season was the second promoted by Andersen Promotions, who also promote the other steps on the Mazda Road to Indy. It was the first season for the Dallara IL-15 along with a Mazda MZR-R turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, developed by Advanced Engine Research. 2015 was the second season with Cooper Tire as the sole tire supplier. The 2015 Red Bull Global RallyCross Championship was the fifth season of the Global RallyCross Championship. The 2015 World Touring Car Championship was a motor racing competition organised by the FIA for Super 2000 cars. It was the twelfth FIA World Touring Car Championship, and the eleventh since the series was revived in 2005.
