The third edition of the Quick Lane Bowl featured the Maryland Terrapins of the Big Ten Conference and the Boston College Eagles of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Teams The game featured the Boston College Eagles against the Maryland Terrapins. This was the twelfth meeting between the schools, with Boston College leading the all-time series 8–3 coming into the game. The 2015–16 NCAA football bowl games were a series of college football bowl games. They completed the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The games began on December 19, 2015 and, aside from the all-star games, ended with the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship which was played on January 11, 2016. A new record total of 41 team-competitive bowl games were played in FBS, including the national championship game and the inaugural Cure Bowl and Arizona Bowl. While bowl games had been the purview of only the very best teams for nearly a century, this was the tenth consecutive year that teams with non-winning seasons were bowl-eligible and participated in bowl games. Ryan Santoso (born August 26, 1995) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football at Minnesota. College career Recruiting profile Santoso was the seventh-ranked kicker and a two-star recruit out of Pace High School in Pace, Florida. He signed a letter of intent to play college football at the University of Minnesota on December 25, 2012. Minnesota Santoso redshirted during the 2013 season. The Quick Lane Bowl is a post-season college football bowl game certified by the NCAA that began play in the 2014 season. Backed by the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, the game features a bowl-eligible team from the Big Ten Conference competing against an opponent from the Mid-American Conference. 2015 Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Team
The 2015 Minnesota Golden Gophers football team represented the University of Minnesota in the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by fifth-year head coach Jerry Kill, who resigned on October 28, 2015 due to health reasons.
