2015 NWSL Expansion Draft
The 2015 NWSL Expansion Draft was a special draft held on November 2, 2015 by the National Women's Soccer League to allow expansion side Orlando Pride to select players from existing teams in the league. The Pride were allowed to select up to ten players total from the existing nine NWSL teams from a list of unprotected players previously provided by the clubs. National Women's Soccer League
The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a professional women's soccer league at the top of the United States league system. It is owned by the teams and, until 2020, was under a management contract with the United States Soccer Federation. The NWSL was established in 2012 as the successor to Women's Professional Soccer (WPS; 2007–2012), which was itself the successor to Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003). Jamia Ayanna Fields (born September 24, 1993) is an American soccer forward who plays for the Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League. Early life She was born in Alta Loma, California. She attended Florida State University, where she was part of the Florida State Seminoles team that won the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament. Club career Fields was drafted by the Boston Breakers with the 14th pick in the 2015 NWSL College Draft. After spending pre-season with the Breakers, Fields would sign with the Western New York Flash for the 2015 season. She was selected by the Orlando Pride in the 2015 Expansion Draft. In two seasons with the Orlando Pride, Fields made 28 appearances with the club. She was released by the Pride before the 2018 season. Kassey Lee Kallman (born May 6, 1992) is an American professional soccer defender. She most recently played for the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League. Early life Kassey is the daughter of Rich and Laura Kallman. She has three brothers – Brian, Brad and Brent – and two sisters – Krystle and Kylie.
