2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
The 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series was the ninth season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, which took place in the summer of 2015. The season consisted of 11 races at 10 different venues, of which 7 were held on ovals. It began with the Pinty's presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on May 17 and ended with the Pinty's 250 at Kawartha Speedway on September 19. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion; 2015 was the final season that Canadian Tire sponsored the series, with Pinty's taking over the title sponsorship from 2016. Scott Steckly won his fourth series championship by four points, holding off an end-of-season points surge by Jason Hathaway. After taking three top-five finishes in the first four races, Steckly won back-to-back events at Edmonton and Saskatoon, before adding a third win at Antigonish and ultimately sealed the championship with second place in the final race. Circuit ICAR
The International Center of Advanced Racing (Circuit ICAR) is a multi-track facility located on the former runways at Montréal–Mirabel International Airport, in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada north of Montreal. The facility features a , 16-turn road course, a oval, a drag strip, two kart tracks, a driftpark and an offroad course. The facility opened in May 2008 as a private motorsport country club, and was opened to the general public in 2009 with the opening of the ICAR Racing Academy, and a karting track designed by Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve. Jean-François Dumoulin
Jean-François Dumoulin (born May 5, 1976) is a Canadian racing driver. He competes in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship for Magnus Racing, as well as the NASCAR Canada Series. He is the older brother of Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. Grand-Am career He made his first career start in the series in 2000 with a fifth-place finish in his class. The following year, he earned a class victory at the Circuit Trois-Rivières. He also competed at the KONI Challenge Series and earned a class victory at Watkins Glen International. Mark Dilley (born January 20, 1969) is a Canadian race car driver. He competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 64 Leland/BDI/PartSource Ford Fusion (Americas), Ford Fusion for Micks Motorsports. Dilley has been co-owner of Sauble Speedway since May 2017. Kerry Micks (born January 10, 1961) is a Canadian race car driver in the NASCAR Pinty's Series. CASCAR Super Series Kerry and his wife Susan formed Micks Motorsports in 1992 to compete in the CASCAR Super Series. From 1990 to 2006 he drove in CASCAR, where is the all-time leader in starts with 165 and second in wins with 24 in the series. Micks won his first and only CASCAR Super Series Championship in 1993.
