2015 Montreal Impact Season
The 2015 Montreal Impact season was the club's 22nd season of existence, and their fourth in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the Canadian soccer pyramid. They advanced to the conference semifinals, where they lost to the Columbus Crew. Outside of MLS regular season play, the club participated in the 2015 Canadian Championship, as well as the knockout stages of the 2014–15 CONCACAF Champions League. Chivas USA (pronounced ''CHEE-vahs'') was an American professional soccer team based in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson, California. Laurent Franco Ciman (born 5 August 1985) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He currently serves as an assistant coach for CF Montréal in Major League Soccer. Club career Charleroi Ciman began his career in the youth system of Charleroi and made his first team debut in 2004. His play with Charleroi attracted the interest of the top Belgian clubs. The 2015 MLS SuperDraft was the sixteenth SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held each year in conjunction with the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention. The 2015 convention was held January 14–18, 2015 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The first two rounds of the SuperDraft took place on January 15, 2015. Rounds three and four took place via conference call on January 20, 2015. The UCF Knights men's soccer team represents the University of Central Florida in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I. As of the next NCAA men's soccer season in 2023, the Knights compete in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). This coincides with UCF's July 2023 move from the American Athletic Conference (The American), a league in which it has been a member since 2013, to the Big 12 Conference, which sponsors soccer only for women. Romario Garfield Williams (born 15 August 1994) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a forward for USL Championship side Colorado Springs Switchbacks. He is named after the legendary Brazilian footballer, Romário. Club career Youth Williams graduated from Kingston College in Jamaica and then attended university in Orlando. Andrés Fabricio Romero (born 21 December 1989) is a retired Argentine football striker. Career Club Romero made his first team debut in a 2–0 away defeat to Newell's Old Boys on 11 April 2008. Bakary Soumaré (born 9 November 1985) is a Malian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played professionally in the United States, France, Germany and Canada, and earned twelve caps for the Mali national team.
