The 2015 Korea Open was a women's professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the 12th edition of the tournament, and was part of the 2015 WTA Tour. It took place in Seoul, South Korea between 21 September and 27 September 2015. First-seeded Irina-Camelia Begu won the singles title. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International tournaments was a category for tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. As of 2021 these events have been reclassified as WTA 250 tournaments. The winner of a WTA 250 tournament adds 250 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2025 WTA Tour, 2025 season, there were 20 WTA 250, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,094. Lauren Davis (born October 9, 1993) is an American professional tennis player. Kateryna Baindl (, née Kozlova ; born 20 February 1994) is a Ukrainian inactive tennis player. On 19 February 2018, she achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 62. Paula Badosa Gibert () (born 15 November 1997) is a Spanish professional tennis player. Han has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 149, achieved June 2019, and a doubles ranking of No. 95, set on 7 November 2022. is a Japanese former professional tennis player. She reached the semifinals of the 1994 Australian Open, the 1995 French Open and the 1996 Wimbledon Championships, and won the Japan Open a record four times.
