2015 German Darts Masters
The 2015 German Darts Masters was the third of nine PDC European Tour events on the 2015 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place in the Ballhausforum, Munich, Germany, between 4–6 April 2015. It featured a field of 48 players and £115,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Phil Taylor was the defending champion, but he withdrew before the event started due to illness. Michael van Gerwen won his third consecutive European Tour title in 2015 by defeating John Henderson 6–5 in the final. Prize money The prize fund was increased to £115,000 after being £100,000 for the previous two years. Qualification and format The top 16 players from thPDC ProTour Order of Merit on 8 March 2015 automatically qualified for the event. Adrian Lewis
Adrian Lewis (born 21 January 1985) is an English professional darts player who formerly competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Nicknamed "Jackpot", he is a two-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2011 and 2012. Lewis has also two other major televised PDC titles; the European Championship in 2013 and the UK Open in 2014. He won a total of twenty-six PDC titles in his career. David Pallett
David John Pallett (born 8 February 1990) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Career In January 2013, Pallett entered PDC Q School and stood just one match from joining the tour in the second event, but lost 6–5 to Louis Blundell. However, after all four events had been played, he had done enough through the Q School Order of Merit to earn a two-year PDC tour card. Andrew Gilding
Andrew Gilding (born 7 December 1970) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number twenty-eight. Nicknamed "Goldfinger", Gilding won his maiden PDC title at the 2023 UK Open, becoming the oldest man to win a major event title in his debut PDC final appearance. He also made the semi-finals at the 2015 UK Open and the quarter-finals at both the 2024 World Matchplay and the 2023 World Grand Prix. Andrew Boulton (born 25 February 1973) is a Scottish professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Nicknamed "X-Factor", he has won four titles on the PDC Challenge Tour. Mickey Mansell
Michael Mansell (born 31 August 1973) is a Northern Irish darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He reached his first major semi-final at the 2024 Grand Slam. Mansell won his maiden ranking title at 2018 PDC Players Championship 8. Career In October 2010, Mansell reached the semi-finals of a Players Championship in Dublin. Ken MacNeil
Ken MacNeil (born 16 December 1975) is a Canadian professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Career MacNeil qualified for the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship by finishing fourth in the North American Order of Merit. In the preliminary round, he defeated Guyana's Norman Madhoo 4–2. In the first round, he lost 3–2 to Alan Tabern. He represented Canada with John Part in the 2012 PDC World Cup of Darts and together they reached the second round by defeating Hungary 5–3. Steve Beaton
Steve Beaton (born 5 April 1964) is an English former professional darts player who competes in World Seniors Darts (WSD) events. Nicknamed "the Bronzed Adonis", Beaton formerly formerly competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO), World Darts Federation (WDF) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is a former BDO World Champion, having won the 1996 World Championship. He was ranked BDO world number one in 1993 and 1994. Before switching to the PDC in 2001, Beaton won the 1993 World Masters, the 1995 and 1996 Dutch Opens, and also achieved success in the WDF Europe Cup and WDF World Cup. Terry Jenkins
Terry Jenkins (born 26 September 1963) is an English former professional darts player who was nicknamed The Bull, having previously used the name "Tucker" for his matches. He reached a peak ranking of world number three in the darts world rankings and was a runner-up in nine major PDC televised finals. Justin Pipe (born 9 November 1971) is an English former professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won six PDC titles. Playing career Pipe was a Boxing, boxer in his youth, and, as a staunch anti-smoker, he refused to play darts in local pubs as the cigarette smoke would make his eyes water. Mervyn King (born 15 March 1966) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.
