2015 Edmonton Eskimos Season
The Edmonton Eskimos season was the 58th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 67th overall. The Eskimos finished with a 14–4 record and in first place in the Canadian Football League West Division, West Division for the first time since 2003 Edmonton Eskimos season, 2003. The team won the franchise's 14th Grey Cup championship 26–20 over the Ottawa Redblacks in their first Grey Cup appearance since 93rd Grey Cup, 2005. Canadian Football League West Division
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division. With a few exceptions, a senior men's football championship has been contested in Western Canada since 1911, and with a few additional exceptions the Western champion has played the Eastern champion for the Grey Cup. Although its teams have been members of the CFL since 1958, the then-Western Football Conference remained a distinct legal entity until 1981. Cory Watson
Cory Watson (born March 27, 1984) is a wide receivers coach for the Concordia Stingers of U Sports football. He was formerly a professional Canadian football wide receiver who was drafted ninth overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2010 CFL Draft and played for five seasons with the club. He was also a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Edmonton Eskimos and BC Lions. He also played CIS football for the Stingers. Professional career Winnipeg Blue Bombers Watson joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after being drafted by them in the 2nd round of the 2010 CFL Draft. The Angelo State Rams football team represents Angelo State University in NCAA Division II college football. The Rams compete in the South Division of the Lone Star Conference. Angelo State has earned one national title and three conference titles since becoming a member of the Lone Star Conference. Blair Smith (born September 25, 1990) is a Canadian professional football linebacker. He attended Angelo State University where he played college football for the Angelo State Rams. He played for the Edmonton Eskimos from 2015 to 2020. Early career Smith played high school football for St. Marcellinius Secondary School, and went on to play at Vanier College. In 2011, he transferred to St. Francis Xavier University and played for the St. Francis Xavier X-Men as a defensive back. Andrew Johnson (Canadian Football)
Andrew Johnson (December 29, 1808July 31, 1875) was the 17th president of the United States, serving from 1865 to 1869. The 16th vice president, he assumed the presidency following the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Johnson was a Southern Democrat who ran with Lincoln on the National Union Party ticket in the 1864 presidential election, coming to office as the American Civil War concluded. The Calgary Dinos are the athletic teams that represent the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. They were known as the "Dinosaurs" but usually referred to as the "Dinos" until 1999, when the name was officially shortened. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). Adam Konar
Adam Konar (born October 10, 1993) is a Canadian professional football linebacker for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was originally drafted 25th overall in the 2015 CFL Draft by the Edmonton Eskimos and played for six non-consecutive seasons with the team. He played CIS football for the Calgary Dinos.
