2015 East–West Shrine Game
The 2015 East–West Shrine Game, the 90th staging of the all-star college football exhibition, was held on January 17, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. EST, and featured NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision players and a few select invitees from Canadian university football. The game featured more than 100 players from the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season and prospects for the 2015 draft of the professional National Football League (NFL). In the week prior to the game, scouts from all 32 NFL teams attended. The game was held in St. Petersburg, Florida, at Tropicana Field, and benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children. The game was broadcast on the NFL Network. Tropicana Field
Tropicana Field (nicknamed "The Trop") is a domed multipurpose stadium located in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. "The Trop" was the home of the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1998 Tampa Bay Devil Rays season, 1998 to 2024. The stadium is also used for college football, and from December 2008 to December 2017 was the home of the St. Petersburg Bowl, an annual postseason bowl game. The venue is the only nonretractable domed stadium in MLB. Patrick Daniel Tillman Jr. (November6, 1976– April22, 2004) was an American professional American football, football player for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) who left his sports career and enlisted in the United States Army United States Army Special Operations Command, Special Operations in May 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, September11 attacks. Dominique Brown (born December 27, 1991) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Louisville. Early years Brown played high school football at the quarterback position for Winton Woods High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a senior in 2009, he rushed for 1,998 yards and 32 touchdowns and also had 723 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns. He led Winton Woods to the Ohio Division II state championship and was named the Division II state offensive co-player of the year in 2009. The Maryland Terrapins football team represents the University of Maryland, College Park in the sport of American football.
