2015 Carpathian Trophy
The 2015 Carpathian Trophy was the 47th edition of the Carpathian Trophy held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania between 20–21 March as a women's friendly handball tournament organised by the Romanian Handball Federation. The most recent winners of the World Championship (Brazil) and the most recent bronze medalists of the European Championship ( Sweden) appeared in the competition. Cristina Neagu
Cristina Georgiana Neagu (; born 26 August 1988) is a Romanian professional handballer who plays as a left back for CSM București and the Romanian national team. Often considered the best player in the world and rated by many in the sport as the greatest of all time, Neagu is the only female handball player in history to win four IHF World Player of the Year awards (in 2010, 2015, 2016 and 2018). Ida Odén (born 14 April 1987) is a Swedish female former handballer. She played her entire senior career for IK Sävehof, and featured regularly in the Swedish national team. Johanna Maria Helène Ahlm (born 3 October 1987) is a former Swedish handball player. She started and ended her career at the Swedish club IK Sävehof, but other than those tenures she played her entire career in the Danish handball league. She also played for the Sweden women's national handball team. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where Sweden placed 8th, and the 2012 Summer Olympics, where Sweden placed 11th.
