The 2014–15 Russian Basketball Cup was the 14th season of the annual cup tournament in Russia. The Final Four was played in Novosibirsk on 28–29 March 2015. Rules Teams were only allowed to play with Russian players. Participants Defending champions Unics Kazan did not participate, just like other Russian Euroleague teams CSKA Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod. Of the VTB United League, only 3 teams (Khimki, Krasnye Krylia and Krasny Oktyabr) participated. The 2013–14 Russian Basketball Cup was the 13th season of the Russian Basketball Cup. From the Eightfinals till the Final, all teams played two legs to decide which team advanced. UNICS Kazan and Lokomotiv Kuban qualified for the Final, Krasny Oktyabr and Khimki were semifinalists. Unics won the cup on May 14, 2014. Drew Goudelock exploded for 36 points in the final game. It was active for 93 years (from 1923 until 2016) as professional club, before being dissolved due to financial problems. The 2014–15 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 15th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the fifth under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines.
