2014–15 Neftchi Baku PFK Season
The Neftchi Baku 2014–15 season was Neftchi Baku's 23rd Azerbaijan Premier League season. They started the season under manager Boyukagha Hajiyev, but he was replaced by Arif Asadov in September 2014. Neftchi finished 4th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, runners up in the 2014–15 Azerbaijan Cup, and reached the Play-off round of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. Agil Mammadov (born 1 May 1989 in Nakhchivan (city), Nakhchivan) is an Azerbaijani professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Neftçi PFK, Neftchi Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Career Club Mammadov played for FK Baku in a qualifier for the 2008–09 UEFA Champions League. On 4 December 2014, Mammadov left FK Baku after not being paid by the club. On 24 July 2016, Mammadov signed with AZAL PFK. On 5 June 2017, Mammadov signed a one-year contract with Gabala FK. Rauf Sahraman oğlu Aliyev (, born 12 February 1989) is an Azerbaijani former international footballer who played as a striker. Samir Masimov (born 25 August 1995) is an Azerbaijani footballer playing as a winger for Russian club Kosmos Dolgoprudny. He also holds Russian citizenship as Samir Ibragim-ogly Masimov (). Pāvels Doroševs (born 9 October 1980) is a Latvian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for SV Victoria Seelow in the German Landesliga. He is also a former member of Latvia national football team.
