2014–15 Montenegrin First League
The 2014–15 Montenegrin First League was the ninth season of the top-tier football in Montenegro. The season began on 8 August 2014 and ended on 30 May 2015. Teams Last season, Dečić were relegated to the Montenegrin Second League, finishing in 12th place and Čelik exclusion because of financial issues. Bokelj and Berane were promoted. The Montenegrin First League (Montenegrin language, Montenegrin: ''Prva crnogorska fudbalska liga'' — ''Prva CFL'' — ''1. CFL''; ), referred to as the Meridianbet 1. CFL for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional Association football, football league in Montenegro. Founded in 2006, competition is headed by the Football Association of Montenegro. 10 teams participate in this league. FK Dečić ( Montenegrin: ФК Дечић; Albanian: FK Deçiq), known as Dečić Admiral Bet for sponsorship reasons, is a Montenegrin professional football club from Tuzi. Currently, the club is a member of the Montenegrin First League. It is a part of the Dečić sporting club. History Founded in 1926, the club is named after the Dečić hill. The team played only non-league matches in the period before World War II. The first official competition in which FK Dečić participated was the lowest-tier Fourth League – Central, in which they participated until the beginning of the seventies. Dragan Radojičić
Dragan Radojičić (; born 3 June 1970) is a Montenegrin Association football, football manager and former player. Playing career Radojičić started out at his hometown club FK Sutjeska Nikšić, Sutjeska Nikšić, making 31 appearances and scoring eight goals in the Yugoslav Second League between 1988–89 Yugoslav Second League, 1988 and 1990–91 Yugoslav Second League, 1991. Podgorica City Stadium ( cnr-Latn, Stadion pod Goricom, Стадион под Горицом) is an all-seater multi-purpose stadium in Podgorica, Montenegro. Its seating capacity changed over the years due to several renovations, as of 2019 it has 11,080 seats. The stadium is the home ground of the Montenegro national team and Budućnost. History Podgorica City Stadium was built in 1945, following World War II. Before the war, Budućnost and other clubs from Podgorica played their matches in a field near that location. The stadium's original capacity was around 5,000 spectators. The stadium burned down completely in 1952, but was later rebuilt, with a new capacity of about 17,000 seats. Podgorica ( cnr-Cyrl, Подгорица; ) is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. The city is just north of Lake Skadar and close to coastal destinations on the Adriatic Sea. Stadion Pod Vrmcem
Stadion Pod Vrmcem is a football stadium in Kotor, Montenegro. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Bokelj. The stadium holds 1,000 people. History The first football ground in Kotor was situated at Rakite suburb, near the Adriatic coast. At the same location, after 1945, a new ground was built. The stadium was renovated few times. It's situated near the beach in Bay of Kotor and it's the home ground of FK Bokelj. Except Bokelj's matches, at the Stadion pod Vrmcem, every year is playing final match of Nikša Bućin Cup, competition for Third League clubs from south Montenegro. The stadium has one stand, with a capacity of 500 seats. Pitch and conditions The pitch measures 110 x 70 meters. The stadium didn't met UEFA criteria for European competitions. Kotor (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Котор, ), historically known as Cattaro (from Italian language, Italian: ), is a town in Coastal Montenegro, Coastal region of Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Bay of Kotor. The city has a population of 13,347 and is the administrative center of Kotor Municipality. Berane City Stadium ( Montenegrin: Gradski stadion Berane/Градски стадион Беране) is a multi-purpose stadium in Berane, Montenegro. Also known as Stadion pod Bogavskim brdom, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Berane and FK Radnički. Also it serves as home ground of Athletic Club Lim. Berane
Berane (Cyrillic: Беране) is a town in Montenegro in the northern region. It is former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. According to the 2023 census, the town had a population of 9,923, whereas its municipality area had 25,162 people. During the medieval period the land of Berane was known as Budimlja (Будимља). It was of great holistic, political and economic importance in the medieval Serbian state and its rulers. OFK Petrovac
OFK Petrovac is a professional football club based in Petrovac, Montenegro. They currently compete in the First League of Montenegro. History OFK Petrovac was founded in 1969, under the name ''FK Nafta''. During the first season, they played in the lowest-tier competition - Fourth League - South.
