2014–15 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship
The 2014–2015 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship was the third running of the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. The championship commenced on 17 October 2014 in Losail International Circuit, Qatar and finished on 25 January 2015 in Irungattukottai Race Track, Madras Motor Racing Track, India. The series consisted of 12 races, spread across 3 meetings. With four victories – two at Losail and two in Madras – and top-five finishes in every race, Toby Sowery finished the season as champion. Sowery finished 47 points clear of his next closest competitor Ryan Cullen (racing driver), Ryan Cullen, who was a three-time race winner, winning a pair of races in Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain and one in Madras. Third place in the championship went to the best placed home driver Raj Bharath (racing driver), Raj Bharath, who was a race winner at Losail; he finished 26 points in arrears of Cullen. MRF Challenge is an open-wheel motorsport formula In science, a formula is a concise way of expressing information symbolically, as in a mathematical formula or a ''chemical formula''. The informal use of the term ''formula'' in science refers to the general construct of a relationship betwe ... based in India organized by Madras Motor Sports Club. This was India's first and only FIA approved and inscribed international series. The cars were developed and manufactured by Coimbatore based J A Motorsport. This was promoted as a Winter series where young and upcoming racing drivers could get valuable seat and track time during the off-season months in competitive tracks in Asia. This was supported by MRF Ltd in its entirety and was a unique concept of "Arrive and Drive" which meant that the drivers would not have the hassle of making all arrangements. Dylan Young (born 29 January 1989) is an Australian racing driver. He previously competed in open-wheeler categories before moving into sports prototypes and was the runner up of the 2019-20 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship Season
The 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship season was the third season of the FIA World Endurance Championship auto racing series, co-organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes and grand tourer-style racing cars from four ACO categories. World Championship titles were awarded for Le Mans Prototypes drivers and for LMP1 manufacturers, and several World Endurance Cups and Endurance Trophies were also awarded. Sebastian Balthasar
Sebastian Balthasar (Cologne, Germany, 30 August 1996) is a German racing driver. Career Karting Balthasar started his racing career in the 2009 karting season. He became third in the Rotax Max Challenge Germany. A year later he entered the Ciao Thomas Knopper Memorial, the ADAC Kart Championship, the German Junior Kart Championship and the 21° Trofeo Andrea Margutti, with a tenth place as his best result. Mahaveer Raghunathan (born 17 November 1998) is an Indian racing driver. He is currently competing in the Italian GT Championship with Lazarus Corse and is also an AMR Junior Team driver.
