The 2014–15 Cyprus Basketball Division A was the 48th season of the Cyprus Basketball Division A, the top-tier level professional basketball league on Cyprus. The season started on November 1, 2014, and ended April 21, 2015. AEK Larnaca won the national championship. Enosis Neon Paralimni Football Club ( el, Ένωση Νέων Παραλιμνίου, ''Enosi Neon Paralimniou'', "Youth Union of Paralimni"), commonly referred to as ENP, is a Cypriot football team from Paralimni. Currently playing in the first division, it holds home games at the Paralimni Municipal Stadium "Tasos Marcou", which holds 5,800 people. History Enosis Neon Paralimniou was founded in April 1944, following the merger of two Paralimni clubs, Heracles and People's Love. The club's emblem is the Parthenon, with a trumpeter and the year 1936 inscription, birth year of the club Heracles. The only reason why founders decided to adopt the year 1936 as the new club's birth year instead of the year 1944 has purely to do with Heracles official papers. 2015–16 Cyprus Basketball Division A
The 2015–16 Cyprus Basketball Division A was the 49th season of the Cyprus Basketball Division A, the top-tier level professional basketball league on Cyprus. The season started on November 6, 2015, and ended on May 3, 2016. AEK Larnaca won the previous championship, and successfully defended its title. Competition format The participating teams first play a conventional round-robin schedule, with every team playing each opponent once "home" and once "away", for a total of 14 games. The league is then split up into two groups of four teams, with each of them playing teams within its group in a home-and-away cycle of games. The bottom four clubs play for one direct relegation spot, and one relegation play-off spot. Records earned in the first round are taken over to the respective Second round.
