2014 W-League Grand Final (February)
The 2014 W-League grand final took place at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on 23 February 2014. It was the final match in the W-League 2013–14 season, and was played between third-placed Melbourne Victory and fourth-placed Brisbane Roar. Melbourne Victory won the match 2–0 thanks to goals by Lisa De Vanna and guest player Lauren Barnes. 2013–14 W-League
The 2013–14 W-League season was the sixth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. The season consisted of twelve matchdays followed by a finals series. The regular season started on 9 November 2013 and concluded on 9 February 2014. The Grand Final took place on 23 February 2014. Canberra United won the regular season, winning the Premier title. Melbourne Victory won the play-offs for the overall championship title. Melbourne's Jessica Fishlock was named W-League player of the season by Australian media. Katie Cherie Duncan (, 1 February 1988) is a New Zealand footballer who plays for Onehunga Sports and the New Zealand national team. Kim Marie Carroll (born 2 September 1987) is a retired Australian soccer player who played in the A-League Women for Perth Glory and for Brisbane Roar, as well as playing for Fortuna Hjørring in the Danish Women's League. She has also played over 50 matches for Australia. Early life Carroll was born and raised in Tully, Queensland. Nadine Marejke Angerer (born 10 November 1978) is a German football coach and player who is the former goalkeeping player-coach for Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
