The 2014 Sibiu Open was a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It was the third edition of the tournament which was part of the 2014 ATP Challenger Tour. Sibiu
Sibiu ( , , german: link=no, Hermannstadt , la, Cibinium, Transylvanian Saxon: ''Härmeschtat'', hu, Nagyszeben ) is a city in Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania. Located some north-west of Bucharest, the city straddles the Cibin River, a tributary of the river Olt. Victor Hănescu (born 21 July 1981) is a former Romanian tennis player. His career-high singles ranking was world no. 26. Professional career Hănescu attained a career-high singles ranking of No. 26 on 6 July 2009. In a Davis Cup match against the United States, he suffered a severe rib injury, and a subsequent injury sidelined him further in May 2006. Marius Copil (born 17 October 1990) is a Romanian professional tennis player playing on the ATP World Tour and ATP Challenger Tour. He is a member of the Romanian Davis Cup team. Copil is known for his extremely fast, powerful, and consistent serve. Radu Albot (born 11 November 1989) is a Moldovan professional tennis player. He is the first player from Moldova to win ATP singles (2019 Delray Beach Open) and doubles (2015 Istanbul Open) titles. Miljan Zekić ( sr-Cyrl, Миљан Зекић, ; born 12 July 1988) is a Serbian tennis player. Career Zekić made his ATP main draw debut in doubles with compatriot David Savić as a wildcard pair at the 2011 Serbia Open, losing in the first round to top-seeded pair Zimonjić/Granollers. Grzegorz Panfil (; born 1 January 1988) is a Polish professional tennis player. Career highlights Panfils' highlights include his win at the F1 Ukrainian Futures Tournament, and his achievements at the Hopman Cup.
