2014 Scottish Cup Final
The 2014 Scottish Cup Final was the 129th final of the Scottish Cup, the most prestigious knockout football competition in Scotland. The match took place at Celtic Park on 17 May 2014 and was contested by St Johnstone and Dundee United. After winning the game 2–0, St Johnstone entered the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League in the Second Qualifying Round. This was St Johnstone's first-ever Scottish Cup Final in their 130-year history, and Dundee United's 10th. Route to the final St Johnstone St Johnstone entered the competition in the Fourth Round. Steven May (born 3 November 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone as a striker. May has previously played in the Scottish leagues for St Johnstone, Alloa Athletic, Hamilton Academical and Aberdeen and in the English leagues for Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End. Ibrox Stadium
Ibrox Stadium is a football stadium on the south side of the River Clyde in the Ibrox area of Glasgow, Scotland. The home of Rangers Football Club, Ibrox is the third largest football stadium in Scotland, with an all-seated capacity of . Opened as Ibrox Park in 1899, it suffered a disaster in 1902 when a wooden terrace collapsed. Vast earthen terraces were built in its place, and a main stand, now a listed building, in 1928. A British record crowd of 118,567 gathered in January 1939 for a league match with Celtic. After the Ibrox disaster of 1971, the stadium was largely rebuilt. Steven James Stuart Anderson (born 19 December 1985) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Berwick Rangers. Anderson plays in central defence. Career Youth career Anderson's senior career began when he stepped up from Dalkeith Boys Club to sign for Dundee United in January 2001. Gary Matthew McDonald (born 10 April 1982 in Irvine, North Ayrshire) is a Scottish professional footballer who last played for Scottish Junior club Kilwinning Rangers. James William Dunne (born 18 September 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays for Welling United. He is a box to box midfielder. Dunne started his career at Wimbledon's youth academy, before moving to Arsenal in 2004.
