The 2014 Paris–Tours was the 108th edition of the Paris–Tours cycle race and was held on 12 October 2014. The race started in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines and finished in Tours. The race was won by Jelle Wallays of the team. 2014 UCI Europe Tour
The 2014 UCI Europe Tour was the tenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 season began on 2 February 2014 with the Grand Prix d'Ouverture La Marseillaise, Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and ended on 19 October 2014 with the Chrono des Nations. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Riccardo Zoidl of Austria was the defending champion of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 Europe Tour was won by Tom Van Asbroeck. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Pierre-Luc Périchon (born 4 January 1987) is a French former professional road and track bicycle racer. During his career, Périchon took two professional victories – both coming in one-day races – at the 2012 Paris–Camembert and the 2018 Polynormande. Career Born in Bourg-en-Bresse, Périchon competed as a professional from the start of the 2012 season, having signed a deal with the team in August 2011. Jean-Pierre "Jempy" Drucker (born 3 September 1986) is a retired Luxembourgish professional racing cyclist. Career Fidea (2004–2008) Born in Sandweiler, Drucker signed with in 2004, a team specializing in cyclo-cross, at age 18. Jelle Wallays (born 11 May 1989) is a Belgian former road cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2011 to 2023. Career Jelle Wallays is the brother and nephew of racing cyclists Jens Wallays and Luc Wallays. He was coached by his uncle in his early racing career and competed in his first race at the age of 14.
