2014 LA Galaxy II Season
The 2014 LA Galaxy II season was the club's first season of existence. This season LA Galaxy II participated in the USL Pro and the U.S. Open Cup. LA Galaxy
LA Galaxy, also known as the Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Galaxy competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), as a member of the Western Conference. The club began play in 1996 as one of the league's 10 charter members. The Galaxy were founded in 1994 and are owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group (also owners of 50% of the Los Angeles Kings, as well as an interest in the Los Angeles Lakers). Stephen Okai
Stephen Okai (born 27 September 1989) is a former Ghanaian footballer and current coach. Career College & Amateur Okai played four years of college soccer at the University of Mobile. Okai won the National Player of the Year award in NAIA and was a three-time All-American. During his time at college, Okai also played for USL PDL club Des Moines Menace in 2010, and Reading United A.C. in 2011 and 2012. Professional career On January 17, 2013, Okai was selected 31st overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by Philadelphia Union. He trialed with the club, but was released by Philadelphia on February 22, 2013. Okai signed with USL Pro club Charlotte Eagles in April 2013. Ryan O'Leary (born 24 August 1987) a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a defender. O'Leary is the son of former Republic of Ireland international footballer Pierce O'Leary and the nephew of David O'Leary. Club career O'Leary attended St. Aloysius' College, Glasgow. Logan Emory
Logan Emory (born January 10, 1988) is an American soccer player who last played for LA Galaxy II in the USL Pro. He is currently an assistant coach at the University of Portland. Career Youth and amateur Emory attended Centennial High School, was named the Idaho Men's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005, played club soccer for the Boise Nationals, and was part of his region's Olympic Development Program, before going on to play college soccer at the University of Portland. Kenneth "Kenney" Walker (born December 23, 1988) is an American professional association football, soccer player. Early life Kenney Walker was born on December 23, 1988, in Wickliffe, Ohio to Mark Walker and Dawn Hoban. He attended Wickliffe High School, where he played soccer for his senior year. That season, he scored seven goals and helped Wickliffe finish with an 18–4–1 record. Charles Nosike Rugg (born October 2, 1990) is an American soccer player. Career Professional Los Angeles Galaxy selected Rugg in the first round (No. 19 overall) of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. Rugg made his debut for Galaxy on April 27, 2013 against Real Salt Lake and also scored his first professional goal in the 13th minute. On March 22, 2014 Rugg was sent down to the LA Galaxy II, the reserve side of the Galaxy, and played in the sides first USL Pro match against the Orange County Blues. Alejandro Covarrubias (born September 17, 1991) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder.. Youth and college career Covarrubias spent his high school years playing for the LA Galaxy youth academy before attending Cerritos College to play college soccer.
