The 2014 LA Galaxy II season was the club's first season of existence. This season LA Galaxy II participated in the USL Pro and the U.S. Open Cup. Players Squad information The squad of LA Galaxy II was composed of an unrestricted number of first-team players on loan to the reserve team, players signed by Galaxy II, and LA Galaxy Academy players. LA Galaxy, also known as the Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Galaxy competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), as a member of the Western Conference. The club began play in 1996 as one of the league's 10 charter members. Stephen Okai (born 27 September 1989) is a former Ghanaian footballer and current coach. Career College & Amateur Okai played four years of college soccer at the University of Mobile. Okai won the National Player of the Year award in NAIA and was a three-time All-American. During his time at college, Okai also played for USL PDL club Des Moines Menace in 2010, and Reading United A.C. in 2011 and 2012. Professional career On January 17, 2013, Okai was selected 31st overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by Philadelphia Union. Ryan O'Leary (born 24 August 1987) a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Logan Emory (born January 10, 1988) is an American soccer player who last played for LA Galaxy II in the USL Pro. He is currently an assistant coach at the University of Portland. Kenneth "Kenney" Walker (born December 23, 1988) is an American professional association football, soccer player. Early life Kenney Walker was born on December 23, 1988, in Wickliffe, Ohio to Mark Walker and Dawn Hoban. He attended Wickliffe High School, where he played soccer for his senior year. Charles Nosike Rugg (born October 2, 1990) is an American soccer player. Career Professional Los Angeles Galaxy selected Rugg in the first round (No. 19 overall) of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. Rugg made his debut for Galaxy on April 27, 2013 against Real Salt Lake and also scored his first professional goal in the 13th minute.
