Malhação
''Malhação'' (, ''Young Hearts'' in English) is a Brazilian soap-opera that aired on TV Globo from 4 March 1995 to 3 April 2020. The series is targeted at a teenage audience. Each season runs for about a year with cast members changing every season. History The soap opera began in 1995, and was initially set in a fictional Gym Club called ''Malhação'' on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Through the years the setting varied each season. Although the name of the soap remained the same, it was set in the Múltipla Escolha () High School for nine seasons. In the twenty-second season, the location returned to be a gym, the ''Gael's Martial Arts Gym'', placed within the art school ''Ribalta''. The following season brought the high school setting back. From the twenty-fourth season onwards, the setting was changed back to the "Academia Form". VH1 (Brazilian TV Channel)
VH1 Brasil was a music channel from Viacom-owned Viacom International Media Networks The Americas. The network was launched in November 2005 on some cable systems, but it was not until May 2006 that it was launched on DirecTV Brazil, replacing MTV Latin America. It targets 25- to 44-year-olds and plays local and international music videos from the 1970s to the 2000s. It also airs famous "Top 20" and "Top 40" countdowns from VH1 USA. At its launch, VH1's Celebreality shows, such as '' The Surreal Life'', '' Breaking Bonaduce'', '' My Fair Brady'', '' Supergroup'' and '' So NoTORIous'', were not aired on VH1 Brasil, yet they did air on its sister network, VH1 Latin America. Mix TV
Mix TV was a Brazilian television music channel aimed at young people. The channel was owned by Grupo Mix de Comunicação, which also owns the Mix FM radio station. Mix TV is run by Fernando di Genio Barbosa and first aired in January 2005. History The station began as TV Jovem Pan, founded in 1991, by entrepreneurs Antônio Augusto Amaral de Carvalho, owner of Rádio Jovem Pan and Hamilton Lucas de Oliveira, owner of IBF (Indústria Brasileira de Formulários). Oliveira had previously been involved in the defunct network Manchete. The station was renamed as Mix TV with the idea that it would be a television version of the Mix FM radio station, which first started in 1995. In 2009, the station expanded its programming, including new shows like ''Hip Hop Mix'', ''Hot Clipes'', ''Insight'' and ''Banda X Banda''. Chiquititas (2013 Brazilian TV Series)
''Chiquititas'', also known as ''Chiquititas Remake'', is a 2013–2015 Brazilian soap opera written by Íris Abravanel, originally aired on SBT. Based on the original series of same name created by Cris Morena, it is also a remake of the previous version for that country. The soap opera is directed by Reynaldo Boury, with Ricardo Mantoanelli directing the music videos. The remake was announced in September 2012 by SBT, with the purpose of maintaining the positive ratings given by ''Carrossel'', also directed for younger viewers. ''Chiquititas'' was supposed to follow the traditional soap opera format, but as it gained very good ratings, it prompted the network to renew the series for two more seasons, delaying its ending for 2015. ''Haunted Tales for Wicked Kids'' ( Portuguese: ''Historietas Assombradas para Crianças Malcriadas''), or ''Haunted Tales'', is a Brazilian animated television series produced by Cartoon Network Brazil. The series chronicles the adventures of Pepe and his friends in a dark world filled with sinister creatures and monsters. The series was based on a stop-motion short film of the same name created by Victor-Hugo Borges in 2005. Synopsis The series revolves around the adventures of Pepe, a wicked boy who lives in a dark mansion with his grandmother, a witch who works selling artifacts and magic potions cities. ''My Big Big Friend'' () is an animated children's television series created by Andrés Lieban and Claudia Koogan Breitman, co-produced by Brazilian studio 2DLab and the Canadian company Breakthrough Animation. It had its first showing on July 19, 2010 on Discovery Kids Latin America in Spanish as ''Amigazazo'' or ''Mi amigazazo'' and on May 15, 2011 on TV Brasil. It also premiered in Canada on Treehouse TV on September 1, 2008. It was financed with the laws of federal tax incentives, the Procult (BNDES) and the Audiovisual Sector Fund – FSA. The show centers around the friendships of three children, Yuri, Lili and Matt, each of whom has a "Big Big Friend" who is invisible to adults and other children but seen by all three friends. ''Fishtronaut'' () is a Brazilian animated children's television series created by Célia Catunda and Kiko Mistrorigo, and produced by TV PinGuim, in association with Discovery Kids. The series is about the eponymous character, a fish in a spacesuit which allows him to fly and breathe out of water. He is a secret agent who, along with his friends Marina and Zeek, unravels the mysteries occurring in the Smiling Trees Park. They solve the mysteries with the help of a P.O.P. (Primary Objective Pod), a magical multicolored ball containing clues vital to the mission. Viewers are invited to dance along with the heroes to a tune, so that the P.O.P. will open and release the clues inside. ''Big Brother Brasil'' is the Brazilian version of the '' Big Brother'' reality franchised television show based on the original Dutch television series of the same name, that was created in 1997 by John de Mol Jr.. It is the second one with more finished seasons (only after the American version) and the only one with more than 20 years of uninterrupted annual transmission in the same channel. The show is based on a group of strangers, known as housemates, living together twenty-four hours a day in the ''Big Brother'' house, isolated from the outside world (primarily from mass media, such as newspapers, telephones, television and the internet) while having all their steps followed by cameras around-the-clock, with no privacy for three months.
