2014 Football League Trophy Final
The 2014 Football League Trophy Final was the 31st final of the domestic cup involving League One and League Two teams. The final took place at Wembley Stadium in London on 30 March 2014 and saw Peterborough United beat Chesterfield 3–1, with Josh McQuoid, Shaun Brisley, Eoin Doyle and Britt Assombalonga all scoring goals. 35,663 spectators attended the match and Andy D'Urso was the referee. 2013–14 Football League Trophy
The 2013–14 Football League Trophy, known as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for sponsorship reasons, was the 33rd season in the history of Football League Trophy, the competition. It is a knock-out tournament for Football in England, English football clubs in Football League One, League One and Football League Two, League Two, the third and fourth tiers of the English Football League. In all, 48 clubs entered the competition. It was split into two sections, Northern and Southern, with the winners of each section contesting the final at Wembley Stadium. Tommy Lee (footballer)
Thomas Edward Lee (born 3 January 1986) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He began his career with Manchester United, but was unable to break into the first team and was loaned to Macclesfield Town in 2006. He joined Macclesfield permanently later that year, spending two years there before first joining Rochdale on loan and then Chesterfield on a permanent basis. He played for Chesterfield for nine seasons, appearing in more than 350 matches before his retirement due to a shoulder injury in 2017. Marc Richards
Marc John Richards (born 8 July 1982) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker and is now, upon retiring, a first-team coach at Northampton Town. A youth team player at Hednesford Town, he turned professional at Blackburn Rovers in 2000. He spent the 2001–02 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, Oldham Athletic, and Halifax Town. He then spent much of the 2002–03 season on loan at Swansea City before he was allowed to join Northampton Town in the summer of 2003. Drew Talbot
Andrew Talbot (born 19 July 1986) is an English former professional footballer. A versatile player, Talbot predominantly played at right back or on the right wing. He occasionally played at left back and as a left winger, and could also be utilised as a striker. Career Born in Barnsley, Talbot started his career at Sheffield Wednesday, promoted through the academy in 2003–04. Often used as a substitute, he scored five goals in Wednesday's 2004–05 promotion season including one against Hartlepool in Cardiff in the Football League One play-off final. Adrian Samuel Hird (born 7 September 1987) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player he was central defender or defensive midfielder and notably had lengthy spells with both Doncaster Rovers and Chesterfield. He also played for Grimsby Town, Alfreton Town and Barrow. Ian Stuart Dunbavin (born 27 May 1980) is an English professional football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. He spent the majority of his career at EFL League Two side Accrington Stanley, where he amassed 151 league appearances over an 8-year period. Gareth Michael Roberts (born 18 March 1984) is an English professional football coach and former player, who is a first-team coach at side Chesterfield. Roberts has played in both the English football league system (playing in the Football League and Conference) as well as playing in the Welsh Premier League, and has played in all three divisions of the Football League. James O'Shea (born 10 August 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Brisbane Roar. James Ryan (born 6 September 1988) is an Irish former professional footballer that played as a midfielder. He made 419 league appearances in the EFL and was capped four times for the Republic of Ireland Under-21. Ian Ross Evatt (born 19 November 1981) is an English professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Bolton Wanderers. Evatt began his career as a central midfielder, but was later converted to a central defender.
