2014 European Pairs Speedway Championship
The 2014 European Pairs Speedway Championship was the 11th edition of the European Pairs Speedway Championship. The final was held in Divišov, Czech Republic on 13 September. The Czech Republic won their fifth title. Calendar Rules *Semi-Final: 3 pairs will qualify to the Final *Germany Poland and Ukraine were allocated to the Final after finishing in the top three in 2013. The Czech Republic were allocated to the Final as hosts. European Pairs Speedway Championship
The European Pairs Speedway Championship is an annual speedway event held in different countries organized by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) since 2004. Previous winners Rules The minimum age limit (16 years) starts on the date of the rider's birthday. Team composition The 6 (or 7) competing teams shall each consist of 3 riders: 2 riders having programmed riders and the third rider being a substitute, as follows: The substitute rider may take the place of any programmed rider, at any time, within the maximum number of permitted heats (5 when is 6 pairs and 6 when is 7 pairs) as decided by the Team Manager. Maks Gregorič
Maks Gregorič (born 26 August 1985) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Slovenia. Career Gregorič was a member of Slovenian national team for who he earned seven international caps and represented them at four World Cups including the 2009 Speedway World Cup semi finals. He rode for the Kolejarz Rawicz in the Polish Second League and started racing in the British leagues during the 2009 Premier League speedway season, when riding for the Redcar Bears and also rode for them during the 2010 season. He won the silver medal three times at the Slovenian Championship in 2009, 2012 and 2014. Sebastian Ułamek
Sebastian Ułamek (born 20 November 1975) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He was a European individual Champion. Career Ułamek rode in the Polish leagues for his home club Włókniarz Częstochowa from 1992 until 1998 and then Gdańsk from 1999 to 2000 (the 2000 season was in the Ekstraliga). He began to establish himself as one of the leading riders and participated in his first Grand Prix series during the 1998 Speedway Grand Prix season. He made his British league debut in 2000, when riding several times for Wolverhampton Wolves before returning to Poland to ride for Wrocław. On 12 August 2001 he won the Continental Final, which formed part of the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification. He aslso won a silver medal with Poland at the 2001 Speedway World Cup. Damian Baliński (born 5 August 1977, in Poland) is an international motorcycle speedway rider and a current member of Poland national team. He has ridden since 1994 with Unia Leszno. Alessandro Novello ( – February 1320) was the Franciscan Roman Catholic Diocese of Belluno-Feltre, bishop of Feltre and Belluno from 1298 until his death. Novello was born at Treviso in the early 1250s. His brother Prosapio Novello was the bishop of Treviso from 1279. Alessandro entered the Franciscan order at Treviso and served as a Papal inquisition, papal inquisitor in the March of Treviso in 1293–1296. He was consecrated bishop of the united dioceses of Belluno and Feltre in Rome on 20 April 1298. Martin Vaculík (born 5 April 1990) is a Slovak motorcycle speedway rider who is riding for the Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski in the Polish Speedway Ekstraliga.
