2014 EFAF European Championship
The 2014 European Championship was the 13th European Championship of American football. The competition was held in Austria between May 30 and June 7, 2014. The top three teams qualified for the 2015 IFAF World Championship. Qualification Since 2003, the European Championships have been held in three different stages, with the winners of the C- and B-Pool tournaments each being promoted to the next-highest level. The winner of the C-Pool tournament in 2012 was Serbia. The B-Pool tournament 2013 took place from August 31 to September 7 in Milan, Italy. In addition to Italy and Serbia, there was also Denmark, Spain, the Czech Republic and Great Britain battled for a spot in the A-Pool for 2014 in Austria. The winner was Denmark, which qualified for the A-pool in 2014. 2010 European Championship Of American Football
The 2010 European Championship was an international American Football competition. The European Championship of American Football is a continental competition contested by the member countries of EFAF and was held in Germany from July 24 to July 31, 2010. The tournament also served as a qualifier for the 2011 IFAF World Championship. Germany, France and Austria qualified. IFAF Europe
IFAF Europe was the governing body of American football in Europe. It is a member of the International Federation of American Football. IFAF Europe replaced the European Federation of American Football (EFAF) which had begun in 1976 as the American European Football Federation (AEFF). IFAF Europe organises competitions for American football for men, women, and 16- to 19-year-olds. Additionally, they organise flag football for men, women, and under-15 and under-17. Ernst Happel Stadium
Ernst-Happel-Stadion (), known as Praterstadion until 1992, is a football stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna. With 50,865 seats, it is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers' Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer. The stadium was renamed in honour of Austrian footballer Ernst Happel following his death in 1992.
