The 2014 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour was a domestic professional beach volleyball circuit organized in the United States by the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) for the 2014 beach volleyball season. Schedule This is the complete schedule of events on the 2014 calendar, with team progression documented from the semifinals stage. All tournaments consisted of single-elimination qualifying rounds followed by a double-elimination main draw. Todd Rogers
Todd Jonathan Rogers (born September 30, 1973) is an American professional beach volleyball player who is an Olympic and FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship gold medalist. He and his former partner, Phil Dalhausser, were the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 AVP Tour champions. In October 2021, he was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame, along with Logan Tom and Clay Stanley. Early life and education Rogers was born in Santa Barbara, California to David and Heidi Rogers and brother Dean Rogers. Summer Ross
Summer Ross (born December 20, 1992) is an American beach volleyball player. She was the FIVB 2010 Youth Under-19 and Junior Under-21 world champion, the only player to win both titles in the same year and was named 2010 USA Volleyball Beach Female Athlete of the Year. As of 2018, her partner is Sara Hughes. Early life and junior career Ross was born in Carlsbad, California to Tony and Kathy. Her older brother, Chase, was a member of the men's volleyball team at Pepperdine University. Ross began working with coaches from the USA Volleyball (USAV) Beach Program in 2008. Competing with Jane Croson, Ross placed ninth at the 2008 U21 World Championships and fifth at the 2009 U19 World Championships. Emily Capers ( Day born August 9, 1987, in Torrance, California) is a retired female beach volleyball player from the United States who won the gold medal at the NORCECA Circuit 2009 in Jamaica playing with Claire Robertson. Brooke Sweat (born Brooke Youngquist; March 27, 1986) is an American professional beach volleyball player, specializing as a defender. She started her career in 2007 with the AVP tours. Lauren Fendrick (born March 20, 1982) is an American beach volleyball player. She competed in beach volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics with teammate Brooke Sweat. In 2017, Fendrick and new teammate April Ross placed second at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships. Early life and education Fendrick was born in San Diego, California. She grew up in Carlsbad, California. From a young age she showed an interest in sports, competing in basketball, tennis, volleyball, and softball. Adrian Ignacio Carambula Raurich (born 16 March 1988) is a Uruguay-born Italy, Italian beach volleyball player.
