2013–14 Pro50 Championship
The 2013–14 Pro50 Championship was the twelfth edition of the Pro50 Championship, a List A cricket tournament in Zimbabwe. The competition began on 7 December 2013 and the final was played on 30 April 2014. Mountaineers won the tournament for the second time, defeating the Southern Rocks in the final by 7 wickets. Mountaineers batsman Hamilton Masakadza was the tournament's leading run-scorer with a total of 260 runs. Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC), previously known as the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) until 2004, is the governing body for the sport of cricket in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe Cricket is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), and administers the Zimbabwe national cricket team, organising Test tours, One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals with other nations. Chamu Chibhabha
Chamunorwa Justice "Chamu" Chibhabha (born 9 September 1986) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. In January 2020, Zimbabwe Cricket named him as the captain of Zimbabwe's One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) squads on an interim basis. Domestic career Chibhabha made his maiden first-class century at Harare against Sri Lanka A. The match was drawn, and he made 40 and 103. In his previous first-class match, against South Africa Academy, he made 98 before being run out. Masvingo Sports Club
The Masvingo Sports Club is a cricket venue with first-class status in Masvingo. It was the home ground to one of Zimbabwe's provincial cricket sides, Southern Rocks, until the team's disbandment after the 2013–14 season. The ground has hosted several first class, List A and Twenty20 matches. In 2012–13 at the Masvingo Sports Club, Mountaineers dismissed Southern Rocks for 58, leaving themselves a target of 64 for victory, but Southern Rocks in turn dismissed Mountaineers for 26 to win by 37 runs. Two players share the ground record score of 217: Brendan Taylor scored 217 for Mid West Rhinos against Southern Rocks in 2009–10, and Dan Housego scored 217 not out for Mountaineers against Southern Rocks in 2013–14. Roy Kaia
Roy Kaia (born 10 October 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He plays first-class cricket for Mountaineers cricket team, Mountaineers. He made his international debut for the Zimbabwe national cricket team, Zimbabwe cricket team in May 2015. Domestic career Kaia was part of the 2010 Zimbabwe U19 team that lost to the South Africa U19 team. He took 4 wickets for 49. Christopher Bobby Mpofu (born 27 November 1985) is a Zimbabwean former international cricketer. He played for the Zimbabwe national cricket team at Test, One Day International and Twenty20 International level. Early life and career Mpofu spent time in Brisbane, Australia at the National Performance Centre. He was coached by former Australian fast bowler Damien Fleming. Richmond Mutumbami (born 11 June 1989) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. A wicket-keeper batsman, Mutumbami made his first-class debut as a 17-year-old against Southerns in April 2007. Langton Rusere (born 7 July 1985) is a Zimbabwean cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International match, between Zimbabwe and India, on 19 July 2015.
